Specialisms
OVS testing utilises either (depending on the type of assessment) the OWASP Application Security Verification Standard (ASVS) or the OWASP Mobile Application Security Verification (MASVS) to deliver assessments inline with Level 1 and Level 2 of these standards. Trustwave SpiderLabs is accredited by CREST to carry out OVS testing, against both of these levels.
Using our standard manual testing methodology, Trustwave SpiderLabs will manually probe and test all aspects of an application (or mobile application) aligned with either ASVS Level 1 or 2.
Trustwave’s methodologies are based on industry standards. Standard application penetration testing assessments cover all the necessary test classes such as those outlined in Application Security Verification Standard (ASVS).
