Booz Allen’s Incident Response (IR) process begins after the client suspects a compromise. We help clients determine: (a) what happened, (b) how best to mitigate / perform triage, and (c) logical follow-on activities. Employing an iterative discovery process, the IR team learns more about intruder’s actions and intent, identifying malware and tools used to gain / maintain access. Once the team discovers the actor’s activities, they engage in remediation to remove and assist in restoration.
